Designed to raise students’ awareness of four serious eating disorders: anorexia, bulimia, compulsive eating, and binging. Plain language describes the unique nature of each disorder and examines why certain young people develop eating disorders in the first place. The symptoms section clearly describes the warning signs and gives an overview of the behavior patterns of a teen sufferer. The dangers section details serious health risks associated with each disorder. Also includes the story of two courageous survivors who almost lost their lives.
