This 9-1/2 cup double boiler insert is designed to fit into most standard 1-qt. to 5-qt. saucepans (or pans measuring 6"-8" in diameter). Used for gentle heating of delicate foods such as butter, chocolate, milk, egg custards, puddings, and delicate cheese sauces. Highly polished 18/10 stainless steel. Wire handle is long enough to keep hands from heat and is easy to grasp. Unique angled body allows broiler to fit a variety of pans. Also great for gently reheating foods.
