These colorful teaching models are designed specifically for hands-on use. Made of resilient, nontoxic, damage-proof EVA foam, the removable pieces stimulate problem solving skills. All models are specifically designed to complement the elementary curriculum. Each model is accompanied by a reproducible activity card (folded size 10" x 14-1/2") which can be used in the following ways: cut out and laminate the task card for use in a learning center or as a group activity; send home with students as an activity to complete with parents; direct students to complete a series of cards for extra credit, or when they have finished another activity; as a mentor activity with an older or younger student; and as templates for students to create their own models. Each model also includes background information, teaching ideas, and extension activities. Grades K-8.
