The world’s only totally flexible skeleton! This model demonstrates much more movement than any other skeleton available. Rotation within physiological limits of the arms and legs, as well as flexion and extension of the knees and elbows can be demonstrated. This shows, for example, that when lifting the arms above the horizontal, the scapula moves as well. The special flexible spine mimics all natural human movements and accurately demonstrates the pivoting, tilting, and lateral movements of the neck joint. Each scapula is specially mounted to allow movement relative to the ribcage during rotation of the shoulder joint. Even the slight flexibility between the sacrum/pelvis and sacrum/coccyx can be demonstrated. Measures 73-1/4".
