Young children are often the innocent victims of adults’ secondhand smoke, as this interactive display powerfully demonstrates. While the adult model smokes a cigarette in the enclosed chamber, a fan located behind the small child’s faces pulls the secondhand smoke through a filter that traps pollutants in a manner similar to human lungs. The residue on the filter shows the amount of tar that would be absorbed by the young child. Made of durable plexiglas with a removable top.
