Winner of 5 awards! A “predictable” robot that uses binary navigation. The internal program stored on a memory disk, created by the user, ascertains its predictability. Patterns on the disk are read by an infrared sensor. Particular patterns activate either of two wheels to turn left, right, forward, or pause while illustrating the basic principles of binary coding. To change movement, the operator creates a new disk pattern. Basic hand tools required for assembly. Size 6-3/4" x 5-1/2" x 3-1/4". Grade 5 and up.
