Teacher created! Have your class explore the science of temperature measurement by building three different types of working thermometers using this lab kit. Allows student groups to each build a Galileo-type thermometer with floating spheres, a vapor pressure thermometer (as found in indoor/outdoor home thermometers), and a liquid expansion, tube-like thermometer. Also includes a fourth experiment that builds the classic Cartesian diver to demonstrate liquid pressure. Kit contains all supplies needed with complete lab instructions. For four groups of 3-4 students each. Grades 4-8.
