The “sun” is lit with a bright Halogen bulb inside a yellow orb to shine onto the planets as they orbit around it. The central tower and the planetary support rods are black so that they “disappear” in a darkened room for a spectacular effect. Also includes a star dome that replaces the solar dome, converting a darkened room into a spectacular planetarium sky complete with stars and constellation names. Powered either by batteries or by an AC adapter (not included). Ages 6-9.
