This colorful teaching model is designed specifically for hands-on use with young children. Made of resilient, nontoxic, damage-proof EVA foam, the removable pieces stimulate problem solving skills. Specifically designed to complement the elementary curriculum. Accompanied by a reproducible activity card (folded size 10" x 14-1/2") which can be used in the following ways: cut out and laminate the task card for use in a learning center or as a group activity; send home with students as an activity to complete with parents; direct students to complete a series of cards for extra credit, or when they have finished another activity; as a mentor activity with an older or younger student; and as a template for students to create their own model. Model also includes background information, teaching ideas, and extension activities. Grades K-8. 9-5/8" x 12" x 5/8".
