Students can make their own car using the components in this kit. Explore many topics such as circuits, switches, and pulley/gear ratios. See how energy is transferred from a battery (chemical potential energy) through wires (electrical potential energy) to a motor (kinetic energy). The kit demonstrates Newton’s laws of motion and science properties through simple alterations such as changing electrical polarity. Finished dimensions: 6" x 3". Kit includes components to make the car and instructions. Requires one “D” battery (not included). Grades 4-9.
