A full-color chart for teaching the principles and applications of spectrum analysis. Features: the electromagnetic spectrum and the portion occupied by the visible spectrum, emission or bright line spectra of ten elements, the solar spectrum and Fraunhofer line, the Doppler Effect, absorption spectra of solutions, line drawings to illustrate the methods of producing various spectra and practical applications of spectrum analysis, and scales under each spectrum show wavelengths in Angstrom units. Chart is 25" W x 38" L, and is printed on heavy chart paper with a varnish overcoat.
