This lab activity requires no blood and simulates blood typing. It is designed to be performed by 30 students working in teams of two. Blood typing is an excellent lab activity for students, not only because it allows them to visualize antigen-antibody type relations, but they also learn and better understand principles of blood typing. The clumping of red blood cells by the corresponding antibody is done by means of chemical precipitation. Complete for 30 students working in pairs.
