A “new age” engineering triumph! Operates with a small, powerful but quiet magnetic drive system. Simply plug it in and the filter starts automatically. Utilizes the “Bio Bag” three-way filtration system.
Stage I: Traps suspended waste with a primary and secondary particle filter.
Stage II: Absorbs dissolved contaminants, discoloration, and noxious odors with ultra-activated filter carbon granules. Each ounce of filter carbon contains seven acres of absorbent surface area.
Stage III: Converts toxic ammonia and nitrites biologically into harmless nitrates by use of a three-dimensional aerobic frame.
The Result: Pure, crystal clear aquarium water and healthier fish.
For 10 to 30 gallon aquariums. Filters 100 gallons per hour. Bio Bags are sold separately (SB16696M).
