All of the realism of an actual skeleton has been captured in the process used to mold this durable and functional teaching aid. An ideal skeleton was selected and used in preparing the production mold for the skeleton materials, and the bones were carefully cast to preserve even the finest details. Skeleton is mounted in an upright position on a nonrusting stand with base and rollers. Wherever possible, there is natural movement in the joints. Legs, arms, and skull are removable. Mandible hinged with springs, calvarium sectioned to permit study of the cranial vault. The jaw features a full set of teeth, three of which are removable for closet examination. This reproduction of a natural skeleton is made of special unbreakable plastic which does not deteriote easily with age. It can be easily washed with soap and water for years of continuous use.
Includes paintings of muscle origins in red and muscle insertions in blue. All muscle numbers are easily identified. The muscles are accurately painted at the correct positions under the supervision of anatomists. Bones and muscles are numbered for identification. Supplied with dustcover and key card. 5' 7" tall.
