This green anole is not a true “chameleon” from the Old World, but a native lizard of southeastern states. Agile and acrobatic, this reptile can change color in ranges of browns and greens to camouflage itself with surrounding vegetations. Eats live food items such as crickets. Laps up water sprinkled on plants or water droplets on walls of terraria (does not drink from water dishes). Performs complex social displays when housed among other anole lizards. Unit of 3.
