David White® Meridian Level Transit

Recommended for light construction, this rugged instrument handles both horizontal and vertical work. This level transit features aluminum construction for strength and is lightweight. Improved design permits easier and faster operating. Horizontal circle reads to 15 min. and rotates for zero settings. Leveling plate has permanent built-in lubricating system. Telescope standard is a one-piece, U-shaped design. Self-adjusting hold-down block prevents telescope trunnion wear. Lock lever conveniently located beneath telescope provides positive 3-point locking action when instrument is used as a level. Horizontal and vertical clamp and tangent screws permit extra-fine telescope movement for the most critical sightings. Recommended job range: up to 200 ft.; accuracy within 1/4" at 100 ft. Recessed, colored level vial is built into the David White® 22X telescope. Focusing is internal, either hand, and with rack and pinion movement. Level transit comes equipped with durable plastic carrying case, plumb bob, and instructions. Consists of level transit, tripod (C28101N), and builder’s rod (C09184N).
