Each part is 12" long, including threaded part for screwing together. Easily taken apart for convenient carrying in heavy 13" long fiberboard case. Both augers and sampling tube parts finely machined for smooth, easy sampling. Parts marked at 6" intervals to indicate sampling depth. Made of high-grade, triple-plated, chrome-finished steel. Has three replaceable threaded tips: S-1, S-2, and S-3. Tube has nonclogging design. Kit consists of 12" handle, two 12" extension rods, 15" tube, #10 tip wrench, and 17" heavy fiberboard case.
