Jewel-like depth! Tiles are glass, not ceramic. This “through-and-through” color is in contrast to the one-sided, superficial glaze applied to the top of a ceramic tile. This becomes critical in mosaic work where the edge of the tile is visible. The 3/4" square tiles are 1/8" thick and are literally made to be broken (standard tile is generally 1/2" thick and difficult to break). Use on nearly any smooth surface. Enough to cover 270 square inches. Made in Italy.
